LaShelle Wilson has over 32 years of experience in tax and counsels clients in legal matters involving California franchise and income tax, sales tax, property tax and other local taxes and fees. LaShelle has served as tax director for three major companies (in the real estate, manufacturing and pharmaceutical sectors).
In addition to her in-house experience, LaShelle has another 11 years of experience in California tax controversy matters while serving as general counsel for California Credits Group and later as Director for Tax Services at ADP. Through the years, LaShelle has earned a reputation as one of the foremost experts in California taxes and has particular expertise in credits and incentives. LaShelle has been involved in nearly every significant controversy involving California Enterprise Zone credits, including major wins before the State Board of Equalization in Appeal of Jessica McClintock and Appeal of DeVry, Inc. She was also heavily involved in the drafting of Enterprise Zone regulations by the Department of Housing and Community Development.
LaShelle holds a Masters of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University, and a J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law. She is a member of the California State Bar.
